Bars and taverns in certain parts of Nevada will begin to re-open following months of closures. The Nevada COVID-19 Mitigation and Management Task Force decided to allow bars to re-open in Washoe County, including the Cities of Reno and Sparks, and the town of Pahrump in Nye County.
The bars, taverns, wineries, distilleries, breweries and other alcohol-service businesses that will re-open will be subject to strict social distancing guidelines.
The Task Force decided to continue to require bars to remain closed in Clark and Elko Counties, due to elevated risk criteria.
More information regarding the Task Force’s recent decision is available here.
