Bars to Open throughout Nevada Next Week

Bars throughout Nevada may re-open beginning at 11:59 P.M. on Sunday September 20th. Nevada’s COVID-19 Mitigation and Management Task Force voted today to allow bars, taverns, wineries, breweries and distilleries to re-open in Clark and Elko Counties.

Although both counties continue to have elevated risks of the spread of the virus, Nevada’s COVID-19 Mitigation and Management Task Force agreed to change the restrictions based on decreases in average daily cases.

Any bars, taverns, wineries, breweries or distilleries planning to re-open will still need to meet strict social distancing guidelines applicable to food and beverage establishments. We anticipate that the Governor may enact new emergency regulations specifically pertaining to the operation of bars, taverns and other alcohol-related businesses.
