City of Las Vegas – Curbside Pickup

On March 26, 2020, as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the City of Las Vegas allowed certain liquor retailers to offer curbside services and deliveries upon issuance of a time limited permit. These permits will not be renewed following their expiration on June 30, 2022.

However, the City of Las Vegas recently approved an amendment to its liquor code to extend this practice permanently pursuant to an available license “endorsement.” With this endorsement, any retailer with an “off-sale” liquor license or a restaurant licensed to sell alcoholic beverages with a meal can continue to offer deliveries and curbside pickup. “Off-sale” liquor licenses include grocery stores, liquor stores, convenience stores, gift shops, drug stores, breweries, distilleries, and wineries.

Curbside pickup and deliveries for these establishments will be permitted under an “Internet Sales” endorsement on the business’s existing liquor license. This endorsement requires a $500 semiannual fee, an application, and submission of an Alcohol Control Plan.

Please feel free to reach out to the liquor regulatory attorneys at Saltzman Mugan Dushoff with any questions.
